Our client has an exciting opportunity for an IT Contracts Administrator to provide support to the IT team. The role is an important position within the organisation and requires someone who has a strong customer focus, is very well organised, able to follow processes and capable of working autonomously.
This permanent position is working Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. There is potential for a blend of office and home based work, subject to business needs. Due to the remote location of the role, you will require your own transport.
This role would suit a self-motivated individual, looking to develop and progress within a successful company. You will need proven track record in office administration and delivering excellent levels of customer service.
The Role
• Supporting the evaluation and selection of IT purchases
• Assisting with research / market-testing of proposed pricing for both goods and services
• Screening, raising and processing of orders/requests for IT purchases
• Confirming goods receipt, raising GRNs, arranging delivery and co-ordinating installation
• Monitoring, measuring, reporting and reviewing IT supplier performance against contractual commitments
• Managing any stocks of key equipment held centrally, including its allocation and delivery to
new users, maintaining minimum stock levels
• Co-ordinating the return, reconditioning, repair and reuse of equipment where appropriate
• Arranging equipment decommissioning and disposal when requested
• Accurately recording all IT hardware and software purchases and deployments on the IT Asset
Base (CMDB)
• Assisting with ensuring the compliance of all software assets deployed to licensing
requirements
• Assisting the Finance department with allocation and usage reports for asset re-charging
• Liaising with end users on the IT products and services which are available to them, and any
costs/charges incurred
• Pro-actively monitor, measure, report and review mobile phone/device voice & data consumption, targeting
exceptional, inappropriate or unnecessary usage
• Manage reporting of exceptional/unnecessary voice & data usage to individual users and line managers with a view to influence user behaviour to prevent similar repeat events
Requirements
You will have highly developed interpersonal skills and will be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of Microsoft software applications.
An interest in IT is advantageous, but not essential.
