My Midlands based client a Building Society are looking to recruit for a Business Development Manager for the South of England.
You will be responsible for developing Lending business via Intermediaries and Partners in order to support the delivery of the company’s strategy for Mortgage Business. Building and developing lasting relationships within the South of England
Responsibilities:
* To develop and maintain relationships with key contacts both within the Bank and Strategic Partners / Intermediaries.
* Understand the reasons for accepting or declining individual cases and whether the case is suitable to appeal.
* Maintain up to date knowledge of a diverse and changing range of products and criteria and those of our competitors.
* Excellent Communication skills required to be able to effectively communicate mortgage information to a wide range of audiences both face to face, over the telephone as well as presentations to an audience
* Win business from competitors
* Maintain regular contact with Strategic Partners and provide appropriate sales tools and support.
* Keeping an up to date sales plan of potential and new business.
Skills & Experience:
* Able to develop & maintain exceptional relationsips and contacts with registered mortgage brokers
* Proven track record of achieving / exceeding sales objectives and targets
* Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to drive the Society forward
* Provide exceptional customer service & support to mortgage brokers and customers
* CeMap qualified and extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks & compliance requirements
* Good understanding the Mortgage and Intermediary Market
* CeMap qualified
* Clean driving licence
* The ideal candidate will be located within 50 miles of Buckinghamshire to cover London & Home Counties
