Virgin Experience Days are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join our team.
The essence of the Sales Team is acquiring and retaining clients whose purchasing behaviour supports Virgin Incentives revenue generation objectives. Its goal is to set and achieve high levels of profitable sales across the Virgin Incentives full range of products and markets within the UK and USA. Virgin Incentives intends, as part of its strategic plan, to continue to grow its top line in absolute and relative terms.
* Virgin Incentives customer management and retention for corporate and agency businesses
* Drive new business to all Virgin Incentives product lines by both establishing relationships with new contacts and cross selling to the existing customer base who haven’t bought in a couple of years
* Upselling of all Virgin Incentives product lines to other departments of the existing customer base
* Respond to and follow up sales enquiries (new business enquiries)
* Proactively convert all new business opportunities, keeping in touch with the appropriate frequency
* Monitor and report on sales activity and provide relevant management information
Skills Required
* Self-starter with a strong work ethic
* Team player supporting colleagues at all times
* Drive for results both individual and as a team
* Systematic processing of all client records including meeting notes, follow-up calls etc.
* Exceptional eye for detail and high level of accuracy
* Microsoft Office – a high level of competency
* Negotiation – ability and confidence to ensure the best deal for Virgin Incentives whilst delivering an outstanding solution for the client
* Exceptional client facing presentation skills
* The ability to close a complex sale
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
Qualifications and expertise
* Graduate calibre (desirable)
* 2 year’s minimum sales experience
* Previous sales training (desirable)
* Understanding of the incentive and motivation industry (desirable)
* Strong knowledge of the B2B experience and/voucher market, including competitors (desirable)
Experience
* Achievement and results driven
* Telesales – dynamic and tenacious
* Business Generation – ability to research and act upon findings to maximise opportunities
* Account Management – ensure existing clients meet their targets, cross selling across the Virgin Incentives brands whilst maintaining high service levels
* CRM experience (Sales Force, Microsoft Dynamics etc)
Knowledge
* A solid and proven track record in selling complex B2B solutions
* Thorough knowledge of corporate and agency structures, calendars, processes and standards
* Good working knowledge of internet and e-commerce sales solutions
* An in depth understanding of budgets, margins, pricing and financial controls
