Overview of the role

To actively assist and support the sales team and the wider business, reporting and promotional activity working on large customer accounts.

The hiring manager is looking for an individual who will fit in to the happy team culture and also someone that they can invest time in and develop over the coming years.

Key Responsibilities:

This individual will be an important link between the business and their customers and will not only work closely with the sales department but other departments too such as marketing, finance, operations and others. They will occasionally represent the business to the customers and assist Directors with ad hoc duties. Sales and account support, liaising between the customer buying team and the internal stakeholders.
Stock control
Attend and prepare for meetings
Assisting with forecasting
Liaising with other departments to help create samples
Producing reports.
Helping with promotions
The desired candidate.

Experience in similar role, ideally from a retail head office or another consumer/FMCG business eg, a planning role /sales support/ operations/buying or merchandising.
Customer driven approach and a "go-getter" attitude with fantastic communication (both verbal and written)
Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint
organization, planning and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, and both independently, as well as in a team.
Ability to create and maintain business presentations.
