We’re looking for a Partnership Manager to join our team. The Partnership team are the trendsetters in everything experiences. We’re racing to find the next best thing to keep inspiring our customers. We source, grow and retain outstanding experiences, and manage relationships with our fantastic partners. The front line of the business, we work our hardest to meet the needs of all stakeholders to deliver incredible results. Working with the Senior Partnership Manager we need you to help us:
● Scope and deliver initiatives to grow the defined categories, overcoming challenges with pricing and availability
● Source key partnerships to deliver geographical coverage
● Deliver the agreed category strategies ensuring buying in margin (BIM) targets are met.
● Be accountable for categories allocated, with commercial ownership of BIM and ensure we deliver the most attractive, competitive and relevant products for our customers.
● Proactively manage partner accounts to develop strong business relationships, maximise sales and optimise performance in terms of BIM, quality, service and innovation.
● Build out annual plans with key partners to include new product and promotions to meet the requirements of our seasonal marketing activity
● Identify and secure new partnerships to enhance the product portfolio. Select the best providers in the industry.
● Cold call to prospect for new business.
● Conduct confident pitch presentations to win new partnerships
● Negotiate on BIM, delivery and content with current and potential partners.
● Research and source market leading promotional offers to satisfy margin requirements of key clients and direct sale and within required framework/brief
● Ensure that capacity planning and service and delivery considerations are fully discussed with partners from the outset and considered at every stage of selection and launch.
● Work with the Partner Operations team to ensure they receive all the details required to set up new products and promotions correctly and within agreed timescales.
● Represent the company at networking evenings, weekend events and familiarisation trips where required.
What you’ll need:
● Exceptional communication skills
● Strong commercial understanding, the ability to measure partner and product effectiveness and contribution to the bottom line
● Excellent negotiator with a proven ability to convert leads
● Ability to use tools and techniques to profile, benchmark, research and assess the experiences market as a whole
● Account management experience – Essential
● Buying or sales experience, within an eCommerce environment – Essential
● Strong grasp of calculating margins and ability to analyse sales data to make decisions on future products
● Used to working in a dynamic, fast moving, customer service focused environment
