Tech-People are a very successful, specialist M & E Recruitment company located in Bourne End near Burnham, Maidenhead, Berkshire which currently have a requirement for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant on the contract team. You will work alongside a Senior Consultant who has a number of retained and committed clients to recruit on a wide range of Mechanical and Electrical positions within blue-chip and SME's across the UK.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Contract Recruitment Consultant you will be responsible for:-

Developing business and contacts with existing clients – sales.
Developing new business with prospective clients – selling the service, identification of requirements.
Cold calling prospective clients.
Obtaining leads for prospective business.
Taking full, detailed and accurate information over the phone and face to face,
Selling, using both transactional and consultative approaches.
Organising face to face meetings.
Advertising vacancies on the job boards.
Interviewing prospective candidates – identifying the right candidates for the right vacancy.
Arranging interviews.
Closing deals.
Having fun!!!
Making money.

Preferred Skills:

Extremely self-confident on the telephone.
Cheeky, personable, friendly, conscientious, reliable, trustworthy and hardworking.
Commercial awareness.
Well-presented and articulate.
Telephone account management or telesales experience.

Associated Benefits:

£18k – £25k basic + Uncapped Commission + yearly Bonus
