Our client in Bourne End are currently recruiting for a Junior Researcher to join the team of a full-time permanent basis. This person will have strong analytical skills and support several areas of the business.

Responsibilities:

* Complete data requests as assigned

* Commit to processes and timelines as outlined

* Maintain documentation of processes and procedures

* Develop and recommend new research methods

* Assure recommended data is fit for purpose using a variety of quality assurance checks

* Create appropriate research lists for work planning

* Ensure research is processed in an efficient and timely manner

* Maintain internal working relationships

* Develop relationships with external sources of information

* Report key metrics and KPIs as required

* Have ability to approach queries from a client facing approach

* Undertake special projects as required

* Maintain good work ethic and professional attitude

* Have a strong awareness of client needs

Skills:

* Strong academic background with a research-focused degree or equivalent

* Ability to work with data and spreadsheets, especially Excel and the ability to learn new applications

* Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise and coherent manner

* General curiosity in expanding market knowledge and commitment to join in team projects

* Report-writing skills

* Ability to work in a pressured environment to deadlines

* Strong organisational and administration skills

* Curious and inquisitive nature with enthusiasm to learn

* Ability to be adaptable to new challenges

* Attentive, thorough, and meticulous approach to work

* Experience using VLOOKUPS

* Strong interpersonal skills, both within the company and in client-facing situations
