We are looking for Care Assistants who have a passion and desire to care for others and work alongside a team of others Carers and Senior Carers to promote dignity and independence for all residents within the Care Home.

Our client near Bourne End is an attractive 31 bedded Nursing Home that is a part of a longstanding, family-run care organisation with a great reputation in the industry. Specific care and attention is given to all residents to ensure their dignity and privacy is maintained whilst providing 24 hour on call services whatever their needs by a dedicated, efficient and well-trained team of Carers. Bedrooms are furnished and decorated to a high standard and residents are able to bring in personal items such as ornaments and photographs to enable them to feel completely at home. Their CQC report is rated 'Good' in all areas and both Days and Nights are available for the HCA position.
The home is located just a short walk from Bourne End train station and a bus stop is also located just outside the home.

£9.50-10.00+ per hour. (DOE)
The shifts are 8-8 for both days and nights, 6 hour shifts are available on Days
Full and part time roles are available
Free on-site parking
Extensive training and support will be provided to Care Assistants from Senior Care Assistants and senior staff members. Full training and inductions will be a staple no matter the experience level of any new Carers joining the team.
Being a Care Assistant doesn't just mean helping residents to remain as active and independent as possible while respecting their rights of choice, privacy and dignity. It means having fun and laughter with them and using your skills to help them deal with day-to-day difficulties like personal care and meal times.
Main duties for care assistants are as follows:
Providing personal care such as assisting with bathing and using the toilet
Manual handling and assisting them to move around the home, using equipment where required
Work collaboratively with a team of other Care Assistants to provide a high quality of person-centred care
Assisting with food and drink throughout the day
Promoting residents' health and wellbeing, enabling them to live their lives to the full in their later years
Desirable:
Previous experience as a Care Assistant within a care home
NVQ's within health and social care.
