We are currently looking to recruit a driven and ambitious Marketing Coordinator to join our client based in Bourne End.
The ideal candidate should be creative with words and visuals, analytically minded, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a strong attention to detail whilst working on multiple deliverables at the same time.
They will also have previous marketing experience and be educated to degree level.
Duties include
* Running the day to day marketing activities for our Clients
* Writing engaging copy and creating images for multi-channel marketing campaigns – email, social media, brochures, podcasts and press releases
* Setting up organic and paid social media campaigns
* Briefing agencies on more complex paid for campaigns, monitoring and optimising where appropriate
* Using your creativity to come up with interesting and engaging messaging, including creating test plans where appropriate
* Conducting competitor research on clients, therapy areas and projects to identify market trends and innovations
* Delivering email marketing campaigns from beginning to end – i.e. writing copy, and inputting into our email platform Adestra, sending test emails, making data selections and deploying
* Analysing results and providing timely reporting on client marketing campaigns
* Using project management software Jira to plan and track marketing deliverables
* Identifying and liaising with influencers and key opinion leaders
* Delivering and tracking the progress of media partnerships
* Writing briefs for and working with freelance staff
* BONUS: Experience with Email Service Provider Adestra or similar
Skills/Experience
* Educated to degree level – candidates with a degree in marketing, advertising, digital communications, graphic design or a life science preferred, but social science graduates will also be considered
* Interest in life sciences – you are curious to dwell into a specific medical specialty and interested in working with doctors
* Social media marketing experience – you have experience in creating both organic and paid social marketing campaigns, including setting them up and optimizing on platform. You know the latest trends and capabilities across the different social platforms
* Client relationships – you have had experience in dealing with clients and are confident in taking briefs and liaising with them, while forming a good working relationships
* Excellent spoken and written English – you are passionate about writing inspiring copy
* Strong attention to detail – you see typos and prefer to give a little too much information than not enough
* Good analytical skills – you see patterns and trends in behaviours and numbers
* Technically minded with high level of computer literacy – you enjoy getting stuck in a spreadsheet and don't mind teaching yourself how to use the latest data analysis software
* Creatively minded – you have a strong passion for beautiful designs
* Design experience – Experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and/or Lightroom – whilst you will have the support of graphic designers, you will need to be able to create social media tiles yourself too
