This is an exciting opportunity to join a global company working within their Sales Operations team on a temp basis (6 months) to commercially support the Field Sales team to ensure proposed sales arrangements meet gross margin requirements, minimize risk, and comply with both discount policy and channel strategy.
The key interfaces are with Sales Teams, Product Divisions and Channel Management.
Based in Bourne End, salary £13.00 – £15.00 per hour.
The Role:
* Review special pricing requests for justification, profitability, and non-standard contract terms.
* Master their product portfolio to build product, business, and competitive intelligence.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales teams, Product Management, and other key stakeholders.
* Follow corporate approval framework and related policies.
* Deliver value-added analysis to assess business dynamics (price/discount/margin trends, volumes of special pricing requests).
* Create and/or enhance regular and ad-hoc reports in MS Power BI.
* Take part in ad-hoc improvement projects
About You:
* We are looking for someone who is looking to get experience or build on their commercial experience within the professional space.
* Ideally someone who has recently graduated or has 1-2 years of prior admin/sales admin experience.
* We are looking somebody who has strong administrative skills and the ability to communicate confidently with internal and externals members of the business.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of relevant work experience; previous working experience as business operation or sales admin preferred
* Familiar with Office software
* Multiple working capability with positive working attitude
* Serious and responsible work, fast learning ability
* Good communication with internal sales and external partners
* Familiarity with Channel partner business
* A self-starter with a passion for collaboration and problem-solving
