The Role ⚡
The Recruitment Specialist is the first point of call for all day-to-day recruitment queries. The role will involve establishing an excellent relationship working with all stakeholders across the business to ensure the department fully supports the business growth and strategy.
The hours of work are full time, Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:30.
Duties will include but not limited to
* Building rapport with all stakeholders and gaining a solid understanding of their needs when recruiting.
* Managing the end-to-end recruitment process using our ATS system.
* Advertise vacancies through both internal and external channels, screening candidates and arranging interviews accordingly.
* Actively headhunt passive candidates through online job boards and LinkedIn.
* Carry out candidate testing and first stage interviews.
* Liaise with recruiting line managers to organise any further interviews where appropriate
* Be able to identify difficult vacancies and be creative in finding new ways to fill them.
* Ensure awareness and compliance in recruitment practices across the business.
* Minimising the use of agencies to fulfil vacancies where practicable.
* Compile monthly KPI metrics for the HR Manager to include average days to fill and average cost per hire.
* Attend the bi-weekly Resource Planning Meeting to be proactive in identifying future recruitment requirements.
* General administration, including eligibility documentation, driving licences and Background check compliance.
* Support candidates through their on-boarding experience and ensure a positive recruitment experience.
* Constantly think outside of the box and innovate our processes, the way that we recruit, the systems we use etc.
* Contributing towards the HR strategy and being proactive with reviewing processes as and when necessary.
* Working with the HR Officer and Training Coordinator to ensure a smooth transition for candidates into employees through our on-boarding process.
* Ensuring that the IT department are made aware of future hardware requirements.
* General admin, including but not limited to filing and reporting.
* Ensure all offer paperwork is approved and passed to the HR Officer in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.
* Ensure a high level of confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of work
* Work closely with the HR Manager on any ad-hoc projects
* Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties as requested
The successful candidate will have/be
* Proven experience of working in an internal Recruiter role
* CIPD qualified to a minimum of level 5 (desirable)
* Committed to providing an outstanding, customer-focused service
* Ability to develop effective working relationships externally and internally with colleagues at all levels within the organisation
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent organisational skills – able to prioritise a wide range and high volume of activities and use available resources to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as a team player
