This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically biased Project Manager with sales ability to join a truly exciting business that develop robot automation solutions for injection-moulding machines. Our client is the largest robot supplier to the automotive industry in Europe and North America, and has equipped more than 25,000 injection-moulding machines worldwide.

You will have full responsibility for developing and co-ordinating projects within the business.

Responsibilities:

* Managing bespoke projects with value up to £500k

* 2D&3D CAD modifications – SolidEdge

* Developing for robot and automation sales

* Maintaining relationships with existing customers and opening new accounts

* Costing projects from first concept to installation, preparing detailed offers, customer meetings, board level presentations and closing orders

* Monitor projects weekly to make sure that the robots are built to schedule ensuring on time delivery to customer expectations

* Writing monthly sales and quotation reports

The ideal candidate will be methodical and accurate, with drive, energy and commitment to complete projects within defined timescales. Strong communication and problem solving skills along with the ability to work under pressure and availability to travel are essential pre-requisites.

The ideal candidate will live either around Bedford, Luton, Northampton, Milton Keynes or in the greater Midlands, but for the right experience, the company are open to any UK location.
