The Role
Reporting into the Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for other warehouse personnel, making sure deliveries and shipments are taken care of efficiently.
As the Logistics Administrator you will ensure effective and timely implementation of all Logistics daily operational goals. You will also be responsible for the development and initiation of monthly reports having required project timelines, corporate metrics and productivity measurements.
Main Responsibilities
* Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and logistical issues / escalations
* Ensuring that all deliveries and collections are tracked, delivered to the correct location, and appropriate communications had with the relevant parties.
* Coordinate waste product removals with support from UK Logistics Manager and/or Site Co-ordinator/Manager
* Manage daily schedule of deliveries and collections.
* Tracking the progress of deliveries and collections and to ensure a smooth execution of the plan and communicating this information to the wider business
* Liaise with hauliers on delivery or collection of products and communicate to stakeholders within the business any changes that may affect the plan/operations.
* Ensuring all paperwork and scanned documents are compliant with audit requirements.
* Booking of transport/Couriers as and when required to do so.
* Recording and monitoring on CMS and updating relevant spreadsheets
* Be responsible for improving and maintaining a fast high quality service delivery, and cost-effective in/outbound process for shipments and meeting all relevant team and individual KPIs.
* Communicate clear work instructions effectively
* Using multiple and various internal and external systems to book deliveries and collections.
* Data entry and updating reports etc.
* Problem solving, finding the right solutions for the right scenarios.
* The organisation of small and large goods coming in and going out, and European logistics.
The Successful Person
* Experience in customer service / administrative roles
* Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
* Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software
* Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
