Our client is an exciting retail brand, who are seeking an experienced Stock Control / Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead and develop this part of the business. The role is to provide efficient management of the stock levels. Responsible for the purchase orders placed, based on the forecast demands. Liaising with the international side of the business and international suppliers with relation to stock availability etc. Other aspects of the role include
* Manage the value of stock holding to ensure that the cost of storage is within budgeted levels
* Facilitate the weekly stock meeting
* Process and procedure improvement
* Determine / publishing stock availability
* Manage stock allocation via 3PL warehouse management tools
* Ensure year-end stock checks are undertaken to the required standard
* Manage and control the aged stock profile
* Staff management and development of the stock control Coordinator
The ideal candidates will have:
* Experience of controlling and managing stock within a commercial environment
* Experience of implementing and improving stock control processes and procedures
* Proven ability to build and maintain working relationships with both customers and suppliers
* A desire to develop/ grow with the needs of the business
* Previous staff management / supervision experience
