£34,500 (per annum) plus use of Company Van
As a Maintenance Operative (Sales and Marketing), you will be assisting the Sales Manager and Sales & Marketing Director in both the maintenance and presentation of all their properties. You will be working at their various sites around the Home Counties and South East of England (primarily Pitstone, Binfield, Camberley and Ascot), dealing with snagging, defects and other issues, ensuring all is finished to a high finish.
Responsibilities
* Undertaking regular Stock Plot inspections, noting all internal snagging items and defects (i.e. settlement cracks, uneven mastic, cupboard alignment, bulbs, window cleaning, cleaning of flies/spiders webs, as well as flushing of toilets and running water in showers/baths, ensuring traps are wet and do not smell, as well as making sure areas are dry and no water marks remain on the sanitaryware)
* Carrying out repairs of all snagging to a high standard of finish, ensuring appropriate tools/paint colours are used
* Ensuring serious issues are reported to the Site Manager on each site
* Providing external maintenance to all stock plots, ensuring gardens are well maintained (including regular grass cutting with neat edging, the removal of weeds and driveways are kept clean/swept with general checks to fencing and patios)
* Ensuring materials are always in stock and top-ups are ordered in adequate time
* Communicating with the Sales & Marketing teams on sites, providing support for maintenance issues they may have in their office or show home
* Providing snagging/maintenance to the Marketing Suites and Show Homes
* Cleaning/maintaining the site signage/hoarding
* Maintaining/replacing flags (if needed)
* Making good after external contractors have visited various properties, specifically after the fitting of flooring/carpets
* Ensuring the company vehicle is kept clean and presentable (both externally and internally)
