Introduction
Our client is a global leader in environmental solutions, providing a comprehensive range of waste, water and energy management services throughout the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Landfill Manager to join the team at their well-established landfill in Beaconsfield.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the Assistant Landfill Manager, you will be responsible for:

Assisting the Landfill Manager in the day to day operations of the site, ensuring that the site is running inline with environmental compliance and regulations.
Making sure that everyone on the site is fully inducted, trained and monitored throughout to ensure correct working.
Issuing all permits to work whilst also managing all environmental permits and putting plans and processes in place as and when required.
Working alongside all technical support teams, including gas management, engineers, surveyors etc.
Controlling all waste operations including acceptance and disposal
Acting as the Landfill Manager as and when required.

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Experience of working on a Landfill and Landfill operations
COTC qualification or working towards this
IOSH
IEMA is desirable
A full UK Driving Licence is essential
A strong understanding of Landfill regulations

Salary & Package
What's on offer for this exciting role:

Up to £35,000 per annum.
Company Car or Car Allowance
Company Bonus
Monday to Friday – No weekends!
