Poppy’s People are delighted to be assisting their clients, in their search for a Room Manager for their Toddler Room in a Nursery Setting in Beaconsfield.

The Setting:

The setting operates from a beautiful nursery in a wonderful park location with private wonderland. It is an easy commute from Slough and High Wycombe.

The Role:

* The Room Manager role would suit either an experienced room leader or a very experienced nursery nurse/ early years practitioner looking to take their next step into a leadership role

The responsibilities of a Room Manager include:

* Full time ( 5 days a week)

* Provide leadership and support to all room- based staff to ensure children receive high quality care and education and staff are able to give of their best

* Promote and build positive relationships with parents/carers, children and colleagues

* Working as a keyperson

* Follow all safeguarding and health and safety procedures

* Our Clients are seeking enthusiastic and professional candidates with the following attributes:

* Must be qualified to at least Level 3 in a recognised childcare qualification

* Ideally have experience in a room leader role or be a very experienced nursery nurse who has shown leadership in other ways

* Have worked with children aged 2- 3 years old

* Be an confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills

* Have excellent organisational skills

* Have a very strong knowledge of the EYFS

Hours:

Full time 45 hours
