The Setting:

The setting operates from a beautiful nursery with a real focus on enthusiastically supporting all children to achieve excellence and is set within a wonderful park location with private wonderland. It is an easy commute from Slough and High Wycombe.

The Role:

The Deputy Manager role would suit either candidates from a similar role or experienced room leaders/3rd in charge. The role is room based with a view to coming out of ratio in due course.

The responsibilities of a Deputy Manager include:

Full time ( 5 days a week)
Provide leadership and support to all room- based staff to ensure children receive high quality care and education and staff are able to give of their best
Promote and build positive relationships with parents/carers, children and colleagues
Follow all safeguarding and health and safety procedures

Our Clients are seeking enthusiastic and professional candidates with the following attributes:

Must be qualified to at least Level 3 in a recognised childcare qualification
Ideally have experience as a deputy or been a room leader or third in charge
Be an confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
Have excellent organisational skills
Have a very strong knowledge of the EYFS
Be able to step up in the managers absence
sound knowledge of the OFSTED framework

Hours:

Full time 40 hours

Salary:

Negotiable depending upon experience
