Strategic Planning Manager

Due to a period of growth within the company, an exciting position for an experienced Strategic Planning Manager is now open within a well-established housebuilder based in Beaconsfield.

This company build small to medium sized developments building homes that suit the characteristics of the area and place the local community needs front and centre of every development.

The highly experienced project team take pride in the care and attention they take in fully understanding the needs of each client.

The Role

As the new Strategic Planning Manager, you will be working together with the Strategic Land Director within the wider Land and Planning team to identify and deliver strategic land to the business.

You will be focused predominantly on strategic sites, identifying and promoting these through the planning process across the wide Home Counties region to build a future land bank for the company.

Identifying land opportunities both within and outside the local plan process
Sourcing sites through software systems and databases as well as using the land registry
Keeping up to date with planning policy and local plan changes and involvement
Managing pipeline of sites through outline planning permissions as well as some more detailed consents as and when the workload requires
Collaborating with consultants and planning colleagues to work togetherThe Strategic Planning Manager will preferably have;

Experience in a similar role, either with a competitor or consultancy
You will need to be confident working independently
At least 2 years Strategic land experience in a planning role
A strong communicator both written and verbal
Knowledge of local patch
Access to a car and full UK driving licenseIn return?

£70,000 – £90,000 Dependent on experience
25 days holiday + bank holidays
