Site Supervisor – Construction Responsibilities and Duties
We are looking for a site supervisor to work on the groundworks elements on a construction of a new build steel frame unit. Reporting in the Contracts Manager, you will be required to perform the following duties competently:
* manage and implement programmes
* communicate effectively to supply chains and client
* supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress
* coordinating and supervising sub-contractors, maintaining all works are to the correct quality and standards
* ensuring H&S is always adhered to
* maintaining quality control procedures
* finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
* assessing and minimising risk
* Issuing permits
Site Supervisor – – Requirements
* At least four years’ experience as a site supervisor working for a groundworks or steel frame contractor
* Good all round construction knowledge
* Strong character that can motivate and drive the work force
* High work ethic, a can-do attitude, able to go the extra mile when required
* Able to provide at least two references to confirm abilities

* CSCS
* SMSTS / SSSTS
* First Aid
