IT Manager / Group Head of IT

FRS-UK are actively recruiting for a IT Manager/Group Head of IT to work with a £multimillion turnover construction company based in Buckinghamshire.

This is a new role for the business and is a key to supporting the company’s growth.

* Smooth operation of the Group’s network and server infrastructure

* Strictly managing security of the Group’s network and data contained within, included storage and communication systems

* Management of Group’s websites

* Tracking Group’s future business requirements and implementing an IT infrastructure to suite these goals

* Ability to test and troubleshoot network/ server/ infrastructure problems

* Constantly evaluating risk/ vulnerability to the business functions/ Group and adapting the network/ infrastructure as required

* Management of all the Group’s hardware including purchasing of new/ maintenance and replacement

* Expert knowledge of industry best practises ensuring the Group IT activities are acting within relevant regulations/ codes/ laws etc

* Keen interest to stay up to date with advances in security and data management

* Develop and implement disaster recovery plan for the Group

* Managing and working in partnership with external IT support/ help desk

* Establish an IT roadmap for the Group Structure

* Management of Group software and cloud based programmes/ licensing (Autodesk/ Adobe/ COINS/ Procore/ RIB iTWO CostX/ Sage/ etc)

* Maintenance and management of on prem video conferencing facilities
