About the opportunity:

My client currently has a unique opportunity to join the business as Commercial Lead. This is a pivotal role that will be responsible with the company’s leadership group for growth and long-term stability of the company. Within this position you will be expected to be hand on, and manage a small team commercial and procurement team. You will be involved in developments from securing land, pre development appraisals and management, through to project delivery.

With the projected project pipeline and company growth strived for by the owner this is a role that could develop over time to management level. Having already secured long term working relationships with HA and looking to build new ones, this is a business model that provides security during uncertain economic times.

Having built long-term relationships with HA and local authorities, alongside developing their own speculative plots of land, my client have developed a project pipeline to complete approximately 600 new homes. About the benefits and rewards:

A basic salary of up to £100k per annum plus car allowance and company benefits. You will also benefit from a brand-new purpose-built office with various amenities on site.

About the requirements:

You must have proven track record of managing a commercial team (Project QS’s / Assistants, Procurement) and have commercially managed new build residential schemes up to 300 units either working with a larger PLC house builder or local developer. A history of delivering a variety of new build houses and apartments for local authorities would be preferable
