Our client, a dynamic market leader with a stellar reputation with it's specialised field, is looking to source a technically strong Senior Accountant, to lead and develop its talented team. The role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and whilst initially an interim role, you may also be considered for permanent recruitment, should you fit well in the team.

Key duties include:
* Develop and support the Commercial and Operational teams.
* Responsible for the timely and accurate review of monthly financial information.
* Assist the preparation and coordination of the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting cycle. Review of reporting packs for submission to leadership teams.
* Review and challenge financial performance against forecasts and provide variance analysis
* Ensure compliance of Milestone's internal and UK FRS Accounting policies and processes
* Support the mobilisation of new contracts, the implementation of systems
* Identify and drive improvements in processes and systems to add value and seek efficiencies, identifying and mitigating risk
* Support for the timely review of sector of balance sheet reconciliations.
* Support the interim and year-end audit process
* Provide year end statutory information to Central Finance

The successful candidate must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, ideally with experience gleaned from the construction industry.

You must have strong communication skills and be comfortable articulating yourself to a range of clients, who will need clear and concise advice and explanations. This role will act as a key interface between the organisation and its clients, so being confident, credible and professional is hugely important.
