Our client is an award-winning independent firm of chartered accountants, auditors and tax advisors based in the heart of the Thames Valley. They support corporate businesses, SME’s and individuals with a full suite of services giving their clients the confidence and safeguard they need.
They are looking for a Payroll Manager who is ideally CIPP Qualified to cover Maternity leave with an immediate start until November 2021. This is a client facing role and you will be responsible for managing the team in conjunction with the Partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Payroll and Associated Services for their clients.
Payroll duties:
• Processing, ownership and completion of regular client payrolls (whether weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly or monthly).
• Managing the process from receipt of data to the printing and the despatch of reports (email/post or both).
• Review and checking of junior team members where applicable
• Post salary production review of work/workload in conjunction with Managing Partner. Auto-Enrolment: Full Auto-Enrolment tasks for clients, including:
• Staging date review/informing clients
• Letter and communications
• Input and reporting to/from the payroll system (mainly IRIS Payroll Professional)
• Production of files for upload to the relevant pension provider/middleware portal
• Consultation and reconciliation of payments with checks clients
• Auto Enrolment set-up, including use of The Pensions Regulator website
Salary £42-£45K (pro rata)
