We’ll need you to keep a tight ship of cost and overheads and of course ensure that our trusted suppliers are paid within agreed payment terms. You’ll be reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager with any process changes or training that we’ll need to give the larger team.  

Key Responsibilities & Experience

Liaise and build relationships with Care Home teams, supporting their information needs and helping to drive commercial accountability

Act as a contact for vendors, managing all queries and escalating them where required

To perform supplier statement reconciliations on a regular basis

Help to identify efficiency savings within the Accounts Payable process

Support the Accounts Payable team as and when required i.e. sickness or holiday cover

Ideally A or Degree Level Accounting/ Business qualification or studying towards one

Previous experience of working in a accounts processing function 

IT literate with knowledge of computerised accounting systems and Excel and Word
