Children’s Residential Support Worker
£9.00 – £15.00 per hour.

We are currently recruiting for Children’s Residential Support Workers who want to make real difference to the lives of children with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) within the Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire region.
We can offer you flexible shifts to fit your lifestyle; days, nights, sleep ins and weekends, ongoing rolling patterns and ad-hoc shifts are available.
About You:
You will maintain a nurturing, positive and safe living environment within the service in order to meet the needs of the Children and Young People. You will be alert to the needs, safety and wellbeing of Children and Young People.
We need the following attributes from our candidates:
Have a passion for supporting young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships.
Be able to demonstrate positive personal authority.
Have great communication skills.
Possess excellent people skills.
Full driving license with access to a car is desirable due to remote location settings.
Currently working on or completed a Diploma Level 3 (or equivalent) in Children and Young people is advantageous.
Your responsibilities will include:
Participate in the development of care plans for individual Children and Young People.
Carry out regular observations and assessments of the Children and Young People.
Maintaining factual records on the Children or Young Person
Use initiative to independently respond to unexpected dilemmas or situations.
