Residential Support Worker – Full Time Temp to Perm.

£9.50 per hour.

We are recruiting for Residential Support Workers to work within a supported living service in Aylesbury for young people aged between 16-18yrs.

We need an enthusiastic candidate that is looking for a rewarding career in support and who will ensure the welfare and personalised care of the young people.

My client is a nationwide provider that follow the ethos of helping support and guide vulnerable young people to encourage a supportive and nurturing environment. Promoting independence, encouraging creativity and relationship building are key aspects of the role. You will be contributing to the progress and development of the young people and monitoring the individual support plans.

This is a full-time role and you will be working as part of a team on a rota pattern including paid sleep in shifts.

Requirements:

You will maintain a nurturing, positive and safe living environment within the unit, in order to meet the needs of the Young People. You will be alert to the needs, safety and wellbeing of the Young People. Requirements include:

You will have worked in a healthcare setting, ideally with young adults previously

Possess excellent people skills

Have a passion for supporting young people with emotional behavioural difficulties

Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships

Be able to demonstrate positive personal authority

Have great communication skills

Driver with own transport (desirable)

Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (desirable)
