* Experience and skills of working with a variety of service users across a range of disabilities

* Experience of working within a health and/or social care setting

* Experience of supervision of staff

* Effective written and verbal communication skills

* Effective organisation and time management skills

* IT skills

* Ability to reflect and critically appraise own performance

* Ability to use own initiative

* Ability to work under pressure and cope with stress

* Ability to manage conflict

* Good interpersonal skills

* Demonstrable knowledge and practice of good customer care skills

* Emotional resilience

* To be skilled in setting up and adjusting specialist equipment

Desirable Criteria

* Counselling Skills.

* Ability to deliver training

* Ability to complete and use spreadsheets (Excel) and other IT based reports
