Care Assistant

* Pay rate: £12.00- £14.00 per hour plus enhancements for bank holidays

* Location: Aylesbury

* Training: Paid in full

* Shifts: 16:30 to 20.00 days, 21.00 to 08.00 wake nights

* You must be flexible to work across day and night shifts on a rota basis.

* Hours: 36 hours per week

* Full drivers licence and access to own vehicle

Are you the Healthcare Assistant we are looking for?

Part of the City & County Healthcare group, Complete Care Amegreen provide specialist care teams for individuals who live within their own homes. Our client base is varied and includes Spinal Cord Injury, Acquired Brain Injury and other Neurological Conditions.

We need someone with excellent communication skills who is also confident, motivated, and empathetic to help our fun-loving, social and mischievous twin’s live life to the full.

We consider ourselves as a normal loving family, albeit one with a few extra needs. We are looking for a caring person, who is patient, kind and loves being around a busy family home. The twins are nearly 18 years old and love to go swimming; enjoy the countryside and they are both very sociable so love spending time with their family and friends.

The Twins are nearly 18 years old and both in wheelchairs, they need help with dressing, feeding, toileting etc. and require numerous medications 24 hours a day and are given these via a gastrostomy. They are both non-verbal and one is profoundly deaf – but they use communication aids such as books and eye pointing computers to express themselves.

Our family is our world, and we want them to enjoy every possible experience growing up, we genuinely couldn’t function without the amazing carers we have had over the years.
