THE ROLE: As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sales and rental of a range of materials handling solutions. Your customer base will be extremely varied and will include haulage, logistics, construction, and freight. The role of Business Development Manager is split between new business development and account management with leads coming from telesales and your own efforts.
THE PERSON: Due to the complex nature of this sector, our client is ideally looking to recruit a proven performer with background of selling products into construction. The business development manager with have a background selling a technical solution. Material handling experience is desired but not essential. If you have sold products on a hire or lease basis into a construction, this role is a good fit for you. As business development manager you will have experience in both business development and account management. To fit in with the team, you will be competitive, driven and career focused.
