An established & growing business near Aylesbury are now looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to continue their business growth, whilst looking after and maintaining it's current, loyal customer base.
The company is an importer and distributor of specialist Optical products. These high end products are mainly used in optical sensor applications and information display equipment and they have a loyal customer base. Although this is a very niche market, full product training will be given for the right person.
Ideally you will have some email marketing experience across platforms such as mailchimp and you will be dedicated to producing consistent results. You will also have an out-going and confident personality and be comfortable speaking to clients and customers over the phone and in person to nurture and grow relationships, looking for opportunities to grow the business via a consultative and friendly approach.
Main duties of the role:
* Maintaining and developing existing customer accounts
* Identifying and establishing new business opportunities
* Identifying/attending trade exhibitions, conferences and customer/supplier meetings (post covid)
* Being the key point of contact for customers
* Offering solutions and advice on the products where necessary
Person Spec:
* A proven track record of account growth in a similar industry
* Email marketing experience
* Excellent communication skills, with high attention to detail
* Good organisational skills (desirable)
* CRM Management experience (desirable)
* Full UK Drivers License
This is predominately an office based role with occasional travel to clients in the future. This could include travel to Europe (after Covid of course).
The standard office hours will be Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm, although the company are open to flexile working.
The annual salary will be circa £30,000pa, depending on previous experience and background.

This is a unique, hybrid role that would suit someone with a sales/account management background who has also dabbled in marketing and is now happy to merge those two roles together.
