Main Objectives:

To assist in the day-to-day running of a retail business.

Job Specification:

* Serving customers, dealing with any queries

* Taking telephone orders and making calls to clients

* Assisting in stock replenishment on the shop floor

* Assisting with deliveries in and out of the store

* Dealing with any telephone queries effectively and communicating with customers and colleagues

* Other sales related duties

* Ordering goods

Person Specification:

* Excellent customer service

* Good communication skills

* Experience of working with building materials

* Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team

* Able to work on own initiative

* Ability to work under pressure

* Good command of the English language (written and spoken)

* Excellent telephone manner

* Previous experience in a similar industry/sector is desirable
