As Commodity Manager you will be responsible for maximising value for money through the Procurement process by identifying and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives

Client Details

I'm working with an SME sub-contract manufacturer based in Aylesbury who have recently been taken over by a large European business and are looking to grow out their Procurement team.

Description

Developing and implementing sourcing strategy for chosen commodities
Strategic cost down for chosen commodities
Project manage assigned sourcing projects including NPI
Work with Supply Chain & Supplier Quality to identify and manage risks within the supply chain
Compiling technical quotations for new customer projects
Conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers to review delivery, quality and cost performances
Ensure flow down of terms and conditions for customer contracts is understood and accepted in the supply chainProfile

The ideal candidate will have global procurement experience covering electronics, plastics or metals!
Knowledge of sub-contract manufactures
Degree or HND in a related discipline

Job Offer

Salary £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
