The role as an Area Manager

You will lead circa 12 – 18 sites with full responsibility for the teams, financial performance and strategy across your area. Our client is highly service-led organisation that genuinely places their customers best interests at the centre of everything they do – which has contributed to them becoming one of the go-to employers in their very competitive industry. With scope to drive your area and achieve results, the successful area manager will have the knowledge, passion and enthusiasm to succeed.

The new Area Manager

This is a great move if you're an Area Manager who is engaging, passionate about being the best and want to develop and coach your team to be the best too. You will need to currently be an area manager within an assisted sales/service-focused retail business, along with:

Business acumen – the ability to make commercial decisions based on data analysis
Being an excellent communicator and a great coach
A 'can-do' attitude – advocating and championing change
Strong work ethic
Ability to build excellent relationships with your teams and customers
Professionalism, someone who will set the tone across your area
Hands on- willing to get involved to support your managers and teams
Proven ability at multi-site level. Need to have managed a minimum of 10 sites.The package for our new Area Manager

With a basic salary of between £60,000 – £65,000 dependent on experience, plus a company car or car allowance of circa £5,000, performance-related bonuses and a great benefits package, this position will not just reward you financially.
