This role is providing day-to-day support to Buckinghamshire residents who are experiencing a range of concerns due to the impact of Covid-19, by carrying out a comprehensive assessment of circumstantial need and exploring appropriate support options including the provision of advice, direct assistance with food, energy bills and essentials and applying to outside agency or partner schemes for financial aid. In addition, this post would also work closely with the Local Emergency Support team who assist residents within an immediate crisis situation.

The Community Support service provides advice and direct support to Buckinghamshire's vulnerable residents as part of a coordinated response to the impact of Covid-19.

The role will be a hybrid of office based and remote working, you will need to be able to attend offices in central Aylesbury two days per week.

The position involves lots of communication with residents over the phone, you must be an excellent listener, be informative and professional.

We are looking for two Community Support Officers to start immediately, untiil March 2022
