Working alongside the Resourcing Manager you will play an important role in delivering resourcing solutions and meeting service needs for both permanent and flexible resources, social networking through relevant contacts and companies in the market, and collaborating with team colleagues to deliver customer service excellence

About the role
As a Resourcing Consultant you will be responsible for the following:
Applying functional knowledge, experience and judgement, providing "value-added" resourcing solutions and/or consultancy
Delivering cost effective and timely resourcing support and advice to the Council
Meeting recruitment performance targets e.g. by volume, on time and on budget or time and cost to hire, etc.
Project Managing recruitment campaigns
Creating opportunities to promote and develop the "in-house" resourcing service
Proactively sourcing candidates through Linked-in and other social media sources where appropriate
Utilising a number of groups and forums to identify niche talent in the market
The use of market mapping principles to find target passive candidates using a number of complex sourcing channels
Search databases and job board systems for potential talent.
Undertake research utilising search engines and available tools
This is a temporary position until March 2022, though there is potential for this to be extended further. The pay rate is £21.69 per hour, and you will be working full time, 37 hours per week.
The Aylesbury office is conveniently situated in the town centre (HP20 area) with great transport links including a local train station and excellent road connections to the M25, M1, M4 and M40
About you
The work of the team is varied and fast-paced so we are looking for an experienced and highly organised individual who can manage competing priorities and work independently and as part of a team. You will need to be empathetic with our service users and able to use your initiative when dealing with queries.
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant processes within a recruitment environment, systems, policies and procedures will be essential, as will good knowledge of other areas of the authority relevant to the service.
Bringing excellent ICT skills, you will have experience of standard packages, including MS Office, Excel, and may include use of bespoke databases etc.
You will need to have experience of running recruitment campaigns using media sourcing channels and using head hunting techniques to attract passive candidates
You will also need to have experience of managing commercial relationships and delivering a service through or in conjunction with a third party
A sound track record of managing budgets and resources, including partners, third parties and revenue streams will be advantageous
Due to the frequent liaison activities, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
You will need to be highly accurate with attention to detail. You must be able to prioritise and work to deadlines.
