Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm

The Main Purpose of the Job:
is to actively recruit and fulfil vacancies for our client to tight timescales.
will be to actively plan and prioritise all temporary and permanent recruitment activity using effective time management tools to ensure each stage of the recruitment process is delivered within agreed SLA's and timeframes.
will be to consistently build and keep engaged a talent pool of workers to meet supply and demand.
will be to review trends and patterns of recruitment within service area and ensure recruitment is being undertaken to meet client requirements.
is to build a professional working relationships with the client which will be a key and fundamental element of the role.
is to use consultative recruitment strategies, techniques and resources to increase candidate attraction to successfully fulfil vacancies.
is to write, place and update affective adverts to attract the best talent to fulfil vacancies.
is to monitor advert responses and provide an high quality candidate recruitment journey.
use 'outside the box' methods and strategies to target, attract and recruit candidates into hard to fill vacancies.
will include gathering market intel and competitor analysis by investigating local skills shortages and implementing strategies to recruit talent.
is to support the rest of the recruitment team with fulfilling vacancy requirements in other areas of the clients business.
will be to provide a solutions-based approach to overcome challenges.
will be to develop, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Core Skills and Experience
The recruitment consultant will:
Ideally possess knowledge and experience within a local authority capacity.
Possess the required skills to deliver a high-quality service within an ever-changing environment.
Be able to manage conflicting priorities and have a hands-on approach to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
Require strong interpersonal skills and will have experience of working in a fast pace high volume recruitment environment.
Proficient in using Microsoft packages, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint good use of social media sites.
Be self-motivated and be able to work on their own initiative.
Excellent written and verbal command of English.Qualifications:
The recruitment consultant will possess:
GCSE or equivalent – English, Maths (C+ Desirable)Benefits:
