As a Water Hygiene Technician with HBE you will be involved in fulfilling compliance contracts for a variety of clients with a focus on water hygiene, Legionella control and servicing.

You will require basic plumbing skills to service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV’s). This involves isolating, removing the TMV to access and clean the filters and set the temperature to within guidance parameters. In addition to this you will be required to carry out;

* Water Temperature and asset monitoring

* Water sampling

* Disinfection of showers

* Disinfection of cold and hot water systems

* Water assets collection and assessment

All relevant training will be provided.

Essential Criteria: –

* Previous experience in a similar role

* Flexibility to assist with out of hours work (enhanced rates of pay for overtime)

* Physically able to complete field work

* Full driving license

Desirable but not essential: –

* NVQ 2-3 in plumbing or equivalent
