Project Analyst (Finance) 4 Month FTC

Based from either Aylesbury or Marylebone 2 days a week with a working from home option.

T2M resourcing are working with a successful organisation who have an opportunity for a Project Analyst (Finance) to support their team for a 4 month FTC.

The Project Analyst (Finance) role is to ensure that the cost and cash flow requirements on all capital expenditure and projects within the companies are accurately monitored and reported using the relevant accounting standards.

Project Analyst (Finance) Responsibilities

* To manage and administer capital expenditure (Capex) processes in line with company procedures

* Report spend on capex each period with reasons for variances, producing summary and detailed reports for each project/asset

* Liaise with project managers and attend monthly project meetings

* Liaise with management accounting team on capex spend as necessary

* Provide capex spend for cash flow reporting

* Account for Work In Progress in accordance with accounting policy

* Reconcile fixed asset accounts

* Assist in collating period end reconciliations

* Support Head of Financial Reporting in the production of the Balance Sheet and Cash flow for period end, and other period end reporting activities as requested. This will involve forecasting capital expenditure spend over the remaining franchise

* Assistance with year end statutory accounts and tax packs

Qualifications

* Working towards being or a Part Qualified Accountant

* Knowledge and experience of a computer-based accounting systems and good excel and systems skills

* Experience of Fixed Asset Accounting

* Good Communication skills, both verbal and written

* Flexibility and a capacity to manage peaks of work activity are important for the post holder
