PMP Recruitment is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team for an international food company based in Haddenham, HP17 8LB.

The pay rate as a Laboratory Technician is £8.91 per hour

You will be working Monday to Friday from 08:00am until 16:00pm

As a Laboratory Technician the role involves:

Compounding of seasonings, marinade samples on a daily basis for specific customer projects to meet strict deadlines
Prepare and dispatch samples to customers globally meeting specific customs requirements for each country.
Working with existing systems to create the necessary documents and liaising with the International Trade Compliance team
Help maintain laboratory stock of raw materials, keeping stock levels at an appropriate level
Assist in preparing samples for research, shelf-life test, and other requirements
Assist in evaluating raw materials and seasonings to ensure the highest standard in quality in line with the Gold Standard Programme
Working on existing lab systems to maintain data and traceability of raw materials and finished products
Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment in accordance with health & safety standards
Sampling and picking up raw materials from the factory located on the same site
Other ad hoc duties are appropriate, in line with business requirementsOur ideal candidate:

Able to work well as part of a team
A good eye for detail
Ability to work to tight deadlines and to deal with constant changes
