Our Aylesbury based client is seeking a number of Driver Technicians to join their ever expanding team on a permanent basis. The Main office and depot is based in Aylesbury with a delivery radius within Buckinghamshire.

This position as a Driver Technician will involve delivery, collection, installations and adjustments of equipment located in vulnerable people’s homes. This can be a challenging and emotional environment at times as you may be dealing with families suffering bereavement.

Main duties:

* Driving safely and efficiently to undertake required task

* Timely and clear communication with the service centre

* Delivery of equipment

* Installation of equipment / adjustments

* Reporting on safeguarding issues

* Vehicle load / Unload

* Collection of equipment and inspection of said equipment

* Processing of paperwork / reports

* Vehicle checks

This role would suit somebody with a background in driving, Van / delivery that possess good communication skills, compassion and a personable attitude. You will need to have a good eye for detail, have a good understanding of IT.

The core working hours are 07:30 – 16:30 / 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, with a 1 in 10 on call requirement, on these occasions it would Friday night / Saturday with these days paid at OT rates.

This particular company has excellent progression routes, is very well established and is very stable in view of the industry they work within.

Salary on offer is £21,000 – £23,000 per annum with the OT in addition.
