Class 1 & 2 Transporter Drivers required for an Aylesbury company who provide transport services throughout the UK

The objective of the role is to collect and deliver to the right standard, new and used vehicles on behalf of major vehicle manufacturers, dealerships and Companies throughout the UK

Role will include (as well as other duties):

* Safely load vehicles onto the Car Transporter and secure vehicles in accordance with the company Safe Systems of Work and Tie-Down Policy.

* Ensure all driving hours comply with Working Time Regulations and ensure Tachograph records are accurate and passed to the office team as required.

* Deliver vehicles as required across the company network as instructed by the Allocation team safely and without damage.

* Un-load vehicles from the Car Transporter and complete all delivery paperwork as required by the company and manufacturer requirements.

* Deliver & Collect Vehicle all over the UK.

Key responsibilities (as well as others):

* Carry out relevant vehicle (Load) checks on collections & deliveries.

* Ensure you maintain all the equipment you carry and require for your job In good working order

* Carry out relevant vehicle (Load) checks on collections & deliveries

* Take relevant action in the event of an accident or incident, reporting it correctly and in good time via the relevant chain.

* Spend Nights out as and when required.

* To maintain close liaison with Logistics Management team to ensure that all requests are completed in the required time frame

As the ideal Class 2 Driver you will:

* Hold a full UK licence with a Class C+E or C entitlement along with a Digital Tachograph card and Drivers CPC, you will also need to be able use to handheld tablet so some IT literacy is required.

Candidates will also need to have experience in driving large transporter vehicles
