How will you support us?
As a Branch Operations Manager your primary focus will be to manage and oversee the running of the yard and transport functions on site to achieve the safe, efficient, timely and profitable delivery of orders to customers. This is a hands on role working in one of our flagship branches, so on a daily basis, you can expect to;
Manage a team of 14 other team members – From drivers to warehouse staff
Ensure the team are engaged, developed and coached. Our teams are very important to us
Lead Health and Safety from the warehouse to transport teams
Ensure transport utilization is fully efficient and operating to capacity
Working closely with the commercial team

To be suitable for the Branch Operations Manager role you will have:
Operations, logistics and/or distributions experience within a similar type role/business
Management experience of at least 10 people
Excellent communication skills – where you can challenge where needed
The ability to work with a team and lead by example. We want someone who can engage with the team and spot opportunities for development
