We are looking to recruitTeam Leaders for the mass COVID-19 testing programme in Buckinghamshire. We are looking for staff that are flexible Monday – Sunday, 7am – 9pm.
We will be recruiting to sites in Aylesbury but you will be required to work an lead on the mobile testing units.
The Team Leader will be Responsible for the overall on-site operations of the test site, including delivery of testing services, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocol, quality assurance of all work carried out, risk mitigation and day-to-day workforce management.
The Team Leader tasks will be as follows:
Managing the testing team
– Manages and provides support to Site and Test Operative roles
-Monitor staff work schedules to ensure adequate cover across the site
-Cascades new information to all team members
Overall responsibility for site operation
-Opens and closes site each day, including making the daily Go/No Go on testing operations
-Manages test stock and other supplies
-Ensures site and operation health & safety standards are adhered to
Risk management and quality assurance
-Ensures adherence to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and clinical guidance is maintained throughout operations
-Responsible for the quality and risk management of the testing and regularly checking that the site meets the standards required
-Point of escalation for any issues on site, escalates to local public health officials as appropriate
The successful Team Leaders will have experience and evidence of successfully supervising an operational workforce and experience of day- to-day people management. The Team Leaders will ensure
-Work is allocated and scheduled appropriately.
-Team completes all work on time and to the required standards
-Performance and development reviews are completed to the required standards and timescales for all staff.
-Recruitment, induction, development and employee relations are supported effectively, and all related HR processes are completed.
-Effective team meetings take place to required timescales.
You will need to have excellent communication and management skills and have experience dealing with the public. You need be professional, friendly and helpful. You will need to be team player, be flexible and work together with your colleagues to provide the services required. You will need to have a good knowledge of ICT systems including MS Word.
Shift patterns to be confirmed but successful candidates will be need to flexible Monday – Sunday, 7am – 9pm
