Software Trainer / Consultant – Care / Healthcare – £60k to £80k + benefits – UK wide – Can be located anywhere in UK
This is an opportunity to join a company, supporting its Care software programme impplemetnation, through training and presentations to its new clients, as well as offering support to its existing users. The software / program is specifically designed for the Care Sector, specifically aged care, where it supports a safe and secure access for residents, families and their representatives, allowing a simple and easy to use interaction between the residential care teams and the residents, ensuring that all parties are aware of needs and actions, which can be easily adpated to each care home and individual. The software has been designed by a well know and succesful Doctor / Nurse from the care sector and has won mutliple awards.
SALARY ETC:
* £60k to £80k + Benefits
* Will need to have a full driving license and able to provide travel allowance, or / and car
* 38-hours a week
* Permanent, full-time
* Start: ASAP, but willing to wait for the right person
* Can be located anywhere in the UK, ideally central or SE, and willing to travel.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have experience with the regulatory environment within which training has to be conducted (ie. CQC and Safeguarding requirements) and all professional matters which need to be addressed within the systems that the aged and community care facility staff use – including clinical (and medications), management, operational requirements and funding requirements.
* Previous experience training a range of staff with a variety of aged care work roles and classifications.
* Previous experience training staff of aged care facilities regarding software programs for the industry.
* Experience in preparing reports/presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
* Experience communicating effectively with a range of Management and on the ground personnel in a health care environment.
* Recognized training qualification, preferably tertiary; Registered Nurse who has worked in residential aged care or similar residential care environment for a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position; Graduate Certificate or Diploma or higher re Aged Care (Gerontological) Nursing.
* Willing to travel to various locations throughout the UK (mainly England) to visit the various sites / care homes.
JOB SUMMARY:
* Conduct training sessions for staff and management of clients (Care Homes) regarding the use of the software product suite. which include: clinical and lifestyle management, medication management, operations management, Finance management and Apps that staff and residents can use on the floor/on the ground.
* Co-ordination of the training programs provided to clients
* The management, preparation, set-up of the program on training Laptops for each session conducted as scheduled, as necessary.
* Ensuring you are up to date with current industry issues, professional matters and industry regulatory requirements so that questions of staff during sessions can be answered in an educated manner – and the areas of the program that address these can be demonstrated
* To communicate any needs re training resources which will support the provision of the training programs or support aged care staff in their use of the program, to the company Project Manager (PM) and Client Manager (CM)
* Completion of documentation as supplied by the company related to the training sessions including session evaluation forms, attendance sheets, certificates etc.; management of quality improvement activities such as internal assessments, satisfaction surveys, policy and procedure reviews, forms reviews and continuous improvement activities in conjunction with the CEO
* Promote the program in accordance with promotion activities delegated by the ED UK or CEO ie. conducting presentations regarding the use and benefits of the program, attendance at conferences and Roadshows as a representative of the company, providing information and promotional materials to persons attending events
