Locum Physiotherapist

Buckinghamshire / Hertfordshire

£700 – £750/week

Are you a HCPC registered Physiotherapist looking to start a new and exciting role?

We are looking for a physiotherapist to work in an OPD and ward with immediate effect for a period of approximately three months initially. The work will be orthopaedics, big bowel and gynae surgery along with trauma patients.

You will be required to start as soon as possible & have previous experience working in an orthopaedics setting, providing treatment to service users, in order to be considered for the role. Hours of work will be 8am – 5pm 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

Managing own ITU caseload

*

Treating patients undergoing planned surgery

*

Post-operative intervention

*

Monitoring and evaluating patients progress

*

Pre-admission and pre-operative assessment

*

Treating spinal cord injury

*

Making referrals when necessary to other healthcare professionals

Experience & Qualifications:

*

Relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy

*

HCPC registered

*

Previous experience working in orthopaedics
