A highly rated nursing home in Aylesbury is looking to recruit a Health Care Assistant to join their care team. They care for elderly adults who suffer with a range of conditions. The care team strives to provide the best care to all residents in the home, making sure they have the best quality of life.

About the Health Care Assistant role and what the home’s offering:

* A full-time permanent contract of 36 hours per week

* Great rates of pay of £9.00 per hour which equates to £16,848 on a 36-hour contract

The role will involve all aspects of personal care, support and you will be required to assist service users with eating, drinking, washing, and dressing and providing personal care. You will also provide residents with emotional support and companionship, getting to know their individual needs to better support them and to ensure they enjoy the best possible quality of life.

What were looking for in a Health Care Assistant:

* NVQ2/NVQ3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care

* Experience within a caring role, ideally within the care home or elderly care sectors

* Be able to undertake all aspects of personal care and support and maintain the privacy and dignity of residents

* Good understanding of CQC requirements and expectations

* Ability to work both individually and in a team

* Hold a genuine interest for providing care to the elderly equipped with a positive, empathetic attitude to any tasks you are given.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills
