We are currently working with a leading chemical supplier in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry who are looking for a talented individual to join their small but growing team in Buckinghamshire.
They are looking for a graduate from a chemistry or pharmaceutical / cosmetic background or someone with some experience to join as a Scientific Sales Advisor. There is great scope for creativity and personal development within this role, and you will be supported by extensive training on our products, a fully equipped laboratory, enthusiastic and supportive colleagues, and outside training where required. This role is essential in enabling our client to continue to provide our customers and suppliers with excellence in innovation and customer service. Job Responsibilities:
Developing strong technical understanding of our wide range of Personal Care ingredients, their chemistry, benefits and formulation characteristics.
Working closely with our External Sales teams to understand the needs of our customers.
Communicating scientific and commercial information clearly and concisely.
Helping our R&D team to create new Personal Care formulations that demonstrate the benefits of our products.
Identifying new business opportunities.
Attending relevant Cosmetic and Toiletry industry meetings, seminars, exhibitions and symposia to increase knowledge of the Personal Care industry.
Job Requirements:
Essential:
A degree in a Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Science / Cosmetics Science or Life Science related subject
Outgoing personality, drive and self-motivation
