Our mission at Response is to enable people of all ages to live a more fulfilled life by providing excellent mental health services, housing, and supported living. We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join the Harwood House team at Response. The Harwood House team opened in the winter of 2020 and is a 24/7 supported living scheme for adults with long term mental health issues. Clients are supported at Harwood House following extended stays on acute psychiatric and rehabilitation wards or are returning closer to home after periods in out of county placements. The duties within any role vary from day to day. Some of the core duties within the role will include: assisting and supporting with the daily management of the house; completing regular staff supervisions and ensure the staff team attend regular training to help progress their continuous professional development and careers; provide support and advice to the staff team in line with organisational policies and procedures, rota management, leading by example, support, encourage and prompt residents with their medication; and ensure that house rules are kept and adhered to as well as providing a safe and respectful environment. You will be required to work 37 hours per week across equally distributed shifts, Monday-Sunday, sleep in shifts will be required (in addition to contracted hours and paid at a set amount) – flexible working opportunities are available. Salaries vary depending on the role and experiences.
