An established & growing family-run business near Aylesbury are now looking to recruit an experienced Marketing & Sales Executive to continue their business growth, whilst looking after and maintaining it's current, loyal customer base.
The company is the European importer and distributor of specialist Optical Grade Acrylic products. These high end products are mainly used in optical sensor applications and information display equipment and they have a wide range of clients, ranging from small & innovative through to large blue-chip companies (they sell their products business to business).
The ideal candidate will be experienced in Digital Marketing and will come from some kind of technical background, such as Optics, Plastics or manufacturing, for example. They will be familiar with email marketing and platforms such as mailchimp, but they will also be comfortable speaking to clients and customers over the phone and in person.
The role involves Sales, but not "cold calling". The sales element will mainly involve speaking with their existing client base and building and maintaining those relationships, looking for opportunities to grow the business via a consultative and friendly approach.
Main duties of the role:
* Maintaining and developing existing customer accounts
* Identifying and establishing new business opportunities
* Identifying/attending trade exhibitions, conferences and customer/supplier meetings
* Being the key point of contact for customers
* Offering solutions and advice on the products where necessary
Person Spec:
* A proven track record of sales & marketing in a similar industry
* Digital marketing experience
* Excellent communication skills, with high attention to detail
* Good organisational skills
* CRM Management experience
* Full UK Drivers License
* An additional Language would be an advantage (German OR French) but is not essential
This is predominately an office based role with occasional travel to clients in the future. This could include travel to Europe (after Covid of course).
The standard office hours will be Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm, although the company are flexible and open to options, as long as the work is being done!
The annual salary will be circa £30,000pa, depending on previous experience and background.

This is a unique, hybrid role that would suit someone with a marketing background who has also dabbled in sales/account management and is now happy to merge those two roles together.
